Donovan Ford
I was born in Baltimore, MD; grew up there and attended Dartmouth. Most of my adult life took place in Manhattan. I spent years there, married to an agent, and working at Manhattan Gothic Magazine. While there, I published a column called “A week in the life…of Donovan Ford.” (See Forward.)
After my divorce, I found myself in an existential crisis. Family circumstances lead to me to the Virginia-Highland neighborhood in Atlanta. I came, expecting to be here for a few months.
I have yet to leave. This is my story.
(Oh yeah. Lest you feel compelled to point it out: yes, I’ve changed a few names and strategically adjusted the locations of a few places.)
Damn Lasix eye surgery and constant weather changes have slowed my progress reading your book! So far I absolutely love it! I honestly think this one is shaping up to be even better than “Monarch” and that one was GREAT!
